We Taste Tested All Three New Snickers Flavors
I love peanut butter, so I was ecstatic when I heard about the latest Snickers invention. Flossy Snickers non only has a Peanut Butter foursquare, but they're making Almond Butter and Maple Almond Butter also.
Of course I had to give the bars a sense of taste! I broke out a box of the latest flavors to share with my co-workers and we all put our taste buds to the examination. Here'southward what we thought.
1. Peanut Butter
Information technology's practiced. Really, really good. It might be one of my meridian favorite candy bars to date. But I'm probably a bit biased since peanut butter is considered 1 of my primary food groups.
The salty-sweet combo of this bar really reminded me of a Fast Intermission, which is my actual favorite processed bar. With it being then similar, the Peanut Butter Creamy Snickers might even edge out Fast Break. I wasn't the only one who felt that way.
"I think information technology resonated with me because Peanut One thousand&M's are one of my favorite candies," says Matt Anderson, one of our own hither at Taste of Home.
"Peanut butter is classic, and to me, irreplaceable," says Alyson Marks.
ii. Almond Butter
Despite the satisfying salty-sweet gustation from the Peanut Butter, I was shocked by how good the Almond Butter Creamy Snickers was. The almond butter wasn't as overpowering in saltiness compared to the Peanut Butter, which was the reason why so many of my co-workers dubbed Almond Butter their favorite flavor.
"Almond butter is delicious, kind of similar toffee without existence as well sticky," says Claire Nowak.
Surprisingly, people said the Almond Butter was the closest in taste to a normal Snickers bar. It satisfied that classic Snickers craving for those who love the candy most. Merely for anyone looking for a completely new flavor, the terminal Creamy Snickers was best of all.
3. Maple Almond Butter
If you like maple-flavored things, you're really going to dearest the Maple Almond Butter Creamy Snickers. It makes you want to accept a huge plate of our buttermilk pancakes drowning in maple syrup. To be honest, the saltiness of the almond butter mixed with the sweet maple reminded me a lot of Maple-Salary Doughnut Bites, which of course I want to now make immediately.
Some thought the maple season was a fleck also sweet, but others thought the season was original compared to what they normally encounter in a candy bar.
"All of them were delicious, but Maple stuck out to me as existence the nearly unique," says Chantal Waldholz. "The flavor is non something yous expect when you bite into a Snickers."
